In partnership with the Wild Divide Chapter of the Montana Wilderness Association, join Helena filmmaker Michael Gottleib as he presents two documentaries at ExplorationWorks! Wednesday, January 28th.

"Wilderness Warriors" In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Wilderness Act, this documentary links humans' historical relationship with wilderness while celebrating four Montana advocates for wilderness protection. A Montana Wilderness Association History Project 18 minutes.

"Across the Beartooth Divide" A small group of Montanans venture annually into wilderness. Part parody, part documentary, we follow their tracks across the Absaroka Beartooth Divide meeting nature on her own terms. This is not peaking Everest, but a reminder of what backcountry explorers experience in finding a sense of place in Montana's spectacular wildlands. 27 minutes
