This hike will follow the course of Arrastra Creek along Trail #482 and eventually top a ridge, which is the current southern boundary of the Scapegoat Wilderness. We will enjoy several creek crossings, a fine, deep forest and some meadows. Porcupine Basin is close to the route and could be a quick side trip. Up on the way in, and down on the way out. What could be better, unless it's soaking your feet in the creek. We'll experience a 2,000 foot elevation gain.
