Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Wilderness Act by walking to the Wild 50th Fest! This week-long hike will follow the Continental Divide Trail (CDT) from Alice Creek campground to Lewis and Clark Pass north into the Scapegoat Wilderness as far as Scapegoat Mountain. The route heads west into the Bob Marshall Wilderness to Danaher Meadows, Hahn Creek, and over Pyramid Pass. This is an off-trail and on-trail hike. Expect long strenuous days and occasional naps. It requires planning, fitness, and a positive attitude with a sense of humor. This is a trek that the trip leader has not been on but is willing to explore with others into the heart of wilderness and onto Seeley Lake to the Wild 50th Fest.
