Welcome to Helena! is a six-session, two-hour per session, seminar series that will help key nonprofit staff, who are new to Helena, learn about their new community and the great resources that are available. Co-sponsored by the Big Sky Institute for the Advancement of Nonprofits and the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce, the October 21 session includes a welcome by Mayor Jim Smith and presentations by Ellen Baumler of the MT Historical Society and Cathy Burwell, executive director of the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce. Each session runs from 11 am and 1pm, and participants are encouraged to bring their lunch. The cost for the entire 6 sessions is $100. Additional members from the same organization can register for $90. Individual sessions cost $20 each per person. Participants must register two weeks before the session date.
