Based on the New York Times bestseller by indie rockstar and Grandstreet alum Colin Meloy, Wildwood’s adaptation will premiere at Grandstreet for a limited engagement courtesy of LAIKA Pictures who has optioned the novel for the screen.
Prue McKeel’s life is ordinary. That is, until her brother is abducted by a murder of crows and taken into the Impassable Wilderness. Joining with her friend Curtis, Prue plunges deep into Wildwood and uncovers a world full of warring creatures, peaceable mystics and powerful figures with dark intentions. Their rescue mission becomes something much greater as the two friends are entwined in a struggle for the fate of Wildwood.
