Tribal Hunting and Fishing History Description:
The theme for the Last Chance Audubon March Lecture series is Montana hunting and fishing to acknowledge the current exhibits on hunting and fishing at the Montana Historical Society. Programs begin at 6:30 pm., the first four Thursdays of March and are held in the Auditorium at the Montana Historical Society at 225 North Roberts Street.

The March 23rd topic - Tribal Hunting and Fishing History
Tom McDonald, manager of Fish, Wildlife, Recreation, and Conservation Dept. for the Confederated Salish-Kootenai Tribe, will talk about the history of tribal hunting and fishing on the Flathead Reservation.
As an added attraction the Historical Society has offered to show the original Audubon Birds of America: From the Original Drawings, 1860, archived in the collections. Showings will be from 6 - 7 pm. on March 23rd in the MHS Library, on the 2nd floor.
