NorthWestern Energy has given a grant to plant 20 trees at the State Veterans Cemetery and the VA Health Care Facility at Ft. Harrison. The trees will be planted by volunteers on Earth Day, April 22 starting at 9am. Mike Hiel, from Gardenwerks, will be conducting a 1-hour proper tree planting workshop from 9-10 am. If you are building a new home or just adding some trees to your yard this workshop is a must. Then the group will split into 3-4 work teams to plant the rest of the trees. Lunch will be provided.
