At Edmeades we've become famous for our limited bottlings of iconoclastic Zinfandel from the cool, coastal vineyards of Mendocino County. Dr. Edmeades planted his first 24 acres of vineyards in 1963. He founded his winery and launched his own brand in 1972. The Jackson Family purchased Edmeades in 1988.

Murphy Goode, Sauvignon Blanc Fumé Blanc Sonoma County (2020)
Our Fume Blanc is mostly stainless steel tank-fermented to promote the varietal flavors that each vintage offers us from thebvineyard. a small portion of the blend is barrel fermented in neutral small oak cooperage to increase the texture of the finalbwine without adding oak flavors or aromas. Our goal is to create a wine with great sauvignon blanc rich fruit intensity.

Cambria, Chardonnay Katherine's Vineyard Santa Maria Valley (2019)


Ripe fruit, floral and spice aromas dominate the nose. Pink grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, white peach, citrus blossom, and apple flavors are balanced by a bit of wet stone, oak spice and bright acid.

La Crema, Pinot Noir Rosé Monterey (2020)

Aromas of mandarin, pink grapefruit and guava. Flavors of watermelon, strawberry and blood orange are complemented by undertones of minerality. Delicate, crisp and vibrant.

Silver Palm Wines, Cabernet Sauvignon North Coast (2019)

Our Cabernet Sauvignon is dark ruby in color, with aromas of blackberry and cassis. Flavors of black cherry, spice and oak with round firm tannins lead to a soft, silky, lingering finish. Cabernet was abundant and ripe flavors, soft tannins and complexity are the hallmarks of the vintage. Our Silver Palm Cabernet relies heavily on grapes grown in Mendocino County, which provides the soft, black cherry flavors to the wine. We used Sonoma County Merlot to add plushness to the palate and small amount of Cabernet Franc for spice and to round out the finish.

Edmeades, Mendocino County Zinfandel (2018)

Our approach is traditional and natural; our methods are decidedly low tech. We believe in native yeast fermentations in small open-top bins, hand punchdowns, minimal manipulation and no fining or filtration at bottling. The simplicity of our methods allows the soils and climates of each site to be clearly heard in our wines.
