MOUNTAIN TIME ARTS (MTA) is pleased to present STANDBY SNOW: CHRONICLES OF A HEATWAVE, Chapter One, a community opera premiering at Story Mill grain terminal in Bozeman, Montana on August 28 and 29, 2019. This work brings together video, architecture, music, and live performance to explore climate change and the historical narratives and environmental lessons related to fire, drought, and resilience. Standby Snow is a call to action. Two evening performances will begin just after sundown at the grain terminal of Bozeman's historic Story Mill, with the Gallatin Valley as its backdrop.
