In my new Fall watercolor painting class, we will begin to paint a series of Helena landmarks.
We’ll start with the Sleeping Giant. I will show you how to create a beautiful Montana landscape with the infamous profile of the Sleeping Giant.
We will work with a layering technique that is very beginner-friendly, we will learn how to paint clouds by using a paper towel. You will learn how to manipulate the colors and see how they can make your painting come to life.
I invite you to find yourself on an inner journey of self expression through your experience working with these colors. Watercolor can be a freeing medium, and you just might be surprised!

All materials will be provided. We will use high quality, professional watercolor paper, paints and brushes.
We will have some refreshments and light snacks at the gallery, but students are welcome to bring their own.

Class will begin at 5:30 pm and last for 2-3 hours
