Learn to Quilt - Rail Fence
10:00 AM
Creative Stitches
Learn to Quilt - Rail Fence Description:
It is one of the basic quilt blocks and gives the quilter practice with accurate cutting and ¼ inch seams. It also allows the quilter to experiment with the arrangement of the blocks to get different patterns. Due to its versatility, it is a ‘go to block’ for the more experienced quilter as well.

During the class the students will cut and sew together the rails of the fence. Then experiment with the placement of the blocks in different patterns. The final part of the class will be a show and tell of different quilts based on the rail fence block.
