Carroll College Math Debate: The Greatest Algorithm
7:00 PM
Carroll College 101/102 Simperman Hall/Wiegand Amphitheatre
Description:
Join us as Dr. Kelly Cline takes on Dr. Ted Wendt with the question: "What is the most important algorithm of all time?" This event is part of Carroll’s ongoing math debate series.
An algorithm is a process, a method for solving a problem. Computers are run by algorithms, which we use to schedule our plane flights, buy things online, and predict the motions of the stars. Come for this fun and exciting public debate where we will decide once and for all what is the most important algorithm of all time. This event is free and open to the public.
