On the seventh anniversary of the fatal shootings at Sandy Hook, the Helena Chapter of Moms Demand Action offers a candlelight vigil. The event honors the Sandy Hook victims as well as survivors and those we have lost to gun violence, including an average of 197 Montanans that die by preventable gun violence each year. Montana deaths from gun violence each year rank our state as 18th highest per capita in the nation.
