Kay McKenna Foundation
The Kay McKenna Youth Foundation (KMYF) raises funds for Kay's Kids: youth summer recreation program for the children of the Helena area. The KMYF is the primary funding source for Kay's Kids: Youth Summer Recreation Program (in partnership with the City of Helena). Mayor Kay McKenna's dream was to have a safe place for the children of Helena to go during the summer and participate in sports, arts, and educational opportunities at no cost to the children. This foundation makes this dream a reality. Kay's Kids summer 2013 participation was 3,726 over the eight weeks, and KMYF is helping to make that number grow with each year
