Champagne Brunch & the Met’s “Die Walküre” Saturday March 30

Musikanten Montana has again scored tickets for one of the Met’s popular HD live-from-NYC opera transmissions, to use for a benefit for the Montana Early Music Festival.

Please join us for our 11th annual Met Opera Champagne Brunch, before seeing the Met’s production of “Die Walküre,” the most popular of the Wagner monumental Ring cycle. A scrumptious meal will be served at 9:00 at a lovely Helena home, with a guarantee of getting to the Cinemark in time for the best seats.

The Met’s website describes this production: “Expected to be a Wagnerian event for the ages, soprano Christine Goerke plays Brünnhilde, Wotan’s willful warrior daughter, who loses her immortality in opera’s most famous act of filial defiance.”

The opera lasts nearly 5 hours, including two half-hour-plus intermissions with fascinating back stage visits.

Tickets – brunch PLUS opera – are $42 per person. Gather a group of opera friends, or come solo, and celebrate spring with the Met’s production – not only will you enjoy a Saturday of delightful company and impressive singing, but you’ll be helping to bring more great music to Helena for Musikanten Montana’s annual Early Music Festival.
