PROUD is a curated exhibition of visual art running from June 11-August 13, 2021 by The Myrna Loy Jailhouse Gallery. The exhibit is a precursor to Helena’s Pride celebrations held in July. LGBTQ artists are encouraged to present works that celebrate the unique sense of pride that this diverse community has. Show us what your Pride looks like. PROUD is an exhibit designed to showcase LGBTQ artists in honor of National Pride Month. Submit work by email before May 21, 2021 to JanelleDeBray@gmail.com with the following: Proud Art Show; a minimum 50 words on the meaning of your work underscoring identity, lifestyle or diversification. How does your PRIDE and ART collide?; 1-3 images of your art. An artist's reception and celebration is tentatively scheduled for 6:00pm, June 18th.
